My Mahanavami Vijayadashami experience reveals true surrender, spiritual victory and soul awakening in my life
Spiritual Victory Path – I live Mahanavami and Vijayadashami every year, not as a ritual, but as a living transformation in my soul. I want to share what really happened in my real life on these two days, because I know many of you search for your own twin flame journey and feel lost between surrender and victory.

I discovered that Mahanavami and Vijayadashami hold the exact map of inner union.
My Experience of Mahanavami – The Day I Surrender Everything
I celebrate Mahanavami on the ninth day of Navratri. For me, this day means complete surrender.
For nine nights, I worship my Divine Mother in three forms, and I feel each form work inside me.
First three days, I invoke Durga. I face my fear, my anger, my tamas. I see Durga destroy the Mahishasura inside me – my own ego, my own self-doubt, my own old patterns that tell me I am not enough. I fight with myself.
Next three days, I invoke Lakshmi. I open my heart. I invite abundance, forgiveness, and softness into my life. I learn to receive. I heal my rajas – my restlessness.
Last three days, I invoke Saraswati. I sit in silence. I ask for true wisdom, not information. I awaken my sattva. I understand what my soul really wants.
On Mahanavami, I feel all three merge into one powerful form. The scriptures call her Siddhidatri – the giver of attainment. In my life, this is the day my inner battles end.
In Kerala, where I live, we live this as Ayudha Puja and Saraswati Puja. This is what I do:
I perform my Ayudha Puja. I take every tool I use for my dharma – my books, my laptop, my pen, my kitchen vessels, even my vehicle – and I place them before my Goddess. I bow to them. I thank them. I understand that my work itself is worship. This is a concept many forget. Learn more about how this tradition honors tools and knowledge on its official page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayudha_Puja
I perform my Pustaka Puja. In the evening, I place all my books and pens in my puja room. I light a lamp. I close them. I do not read. I do not write. I do not work. I give my mind total rest. For a person like me who always seeks answers, this is the hardest and most healing part. I learn to let go. In my twin flame journey, I learned this same lesson – I cannot control union. I must surrender my tools, my knowledge, my plans.
My Experience of Vijayadashami – The Day I Am Reborn
I wake up on Vijayadashami, the tenth day, as a new person. Vijayadashami means the tenth day of victory.
I hold two powerful stories in my heart on this day.
First, my Mother Durga won over Mahishasura after nine nights of fierce war. Good wins over evil. Light wins over darkness.
Second, Lord Rama won over Ravana on this same day. That is why North India calls it Dussehra. You can read the broader historical meaning of this victory day here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vijayadashami
For me, Vijayadashami is not a story from the past. It is what happens inside me right now.
In Kerala, I live Vijayadashami as Vidyarambham. This is the most sacred part of my life.
In the early morning, I do Puja Eduppu. I take back the books I surrendered. But I take them back with new eyes. The same books feel new. The same pen feels blessed. My Goddess returns my knowledge with purity.
On this morning, I initiate children and beginners into learning. I write on rice or on a tongue with gold. I write “Hari Shri Ganapataye Namah.” I remember my own Vidyarambham at Panachikkad Saraswati Temple. I see thousands of parents in Kollam and across Kerala bringing their babies to temples for their first letter. I cry every time I see it. It reminds me that learning never ends.
I tell everyone who follows my journey – if you want to start anything new, start it on Vijayadashami. Start your sadhana. Start your book. Start your healing. Start your inner union. I started my true surrender on this day, and I saw victory.
What My Twin Flame Journey Taught Me Through These Two Days
In my life, I connected the dots. My twin flame journey is exactly Mahanavami and Vijayadashami.
Mahanavami taught me surrender. I stopped chasing. I stopped proving. I placed my love, my longing, my questions at the feet of the Divine. I said, “Take everything.”
Vijayadashami taught me victory through letting go. When I surrendered truly on Mahanavami, I received victory on Vijayadashami. Not victory over someone else, but victory over my own illusion of separation. I realized union is not outside. Union lives inside me.
So I live these two days like this:
Mahanavami – I close. I surrender. I bow.
Vijayadashami – I open. I receive. I rise.
I invite you to live it the same way in my life. On Mahanavami, list what you need to surrender. Place it in your puja. Don’t touch it. On Vijayadashami morning, take it back with gratitude and start fresh. You will feel what I feel.
This is my real experience, my truth, my victory.
